I remember I used to love reading about urban legends online and in books. Ever since Mythbutsers people have become less interested in urban legends because of them being fake. Gurr I miss when people didn't care if they were real or fake. They were entertain stories that I learned to read in grade school. Care to share your favorite urban legend with us?

I think that some people still enjoy urban legends, I mean, why else would shows about them still be popular. We might be able to debunk them but they're still fun to talk about and discuss.

For one, mythbusters isn't; an end all, and I have seen them get things downright wrong.

Second, there can be a difference between myths and urban legends. Some urban legends you can't prove or disprove.

We have lots of local ones. One of my favorites is there a mental institution somewhere that is haunted. It still has gurneys and stuff in it. People have been known to go crazy from fright in there.

A friend who went in got so creeped out that he absolutely refused to tell me where it was. I still wish to this day that I had that information to see for myself.
