Hello. My time working as a Corrections Officer, in the facility where I was assigned offered myself experience with some of the most violent, psychopathic, criminal members of society I've yet to come across, and from that I'll keep track of things such body language, etc. Most people will take for granted, so it prevents any attacks or any other kind of threat, and will strike a nerve whenever I notice anything like this in my daily life. But to keep to the point

This picture was listed as a mockup of some propaganda poster, but there is one thing about it, notice the man's eye contact. EVERY TIME an offender was planning something, or right before a strike this exact look would come across his sorry face, but there is more. It is a direct trace to the lower, 'reptile brain' of survival and hunting that is embedded in every person, and most psychopaths exist only through it (Look it up) without the mammalian brain, that regulates emotions, social interaction, and other higher affects. This is where the myth comes from, I'm sure other people such as war veterans have experience with this sort of thing too. With the anger, or fear chemicals, you become much more primitive, and are at a loss of control. Imagine living your entire live in this state of mind? It is the reason crime exists. Check it out

I see 2 images:

A stylized cartoon of a black man driving a car.

An illustration of a reptilian alien.

So you are saying that if I see someone morph into an anime style cartoon with oversized eyes I should run away?

You bet i'll run if I see that!

Does this kind of thing happen all of the time in "the joint?" On a side note, this would explain our culture's fascination with anime.

Do you think the Japanese are more in touch with thier reptilian nature than the west?

I have more questions but I'll give you a chance to answer these first.

A little warning on the second pic would have spared me from jumping lol

I know one person who scares the crap out of me. I see nothing but dark and evil in his eyes. He gives off the creepiest vibe I have ever felt from another.

He brags about being crazy and the fact he was even allowed in the military with his mental background amazes me. He is not someone who should be in possession of a gun.

His wifes friend who is a true psychic won't be in the same room with him. She reads auras and he has nothing but black surrounding him. It honestly doesn't surprise me. He is very into satanic rituals and stuff like that. I lived with him and his wife for a few months and I was happy to move out but I feel for his wife and kids. She is scared of him and honestly I don't blame her. He is the only person who has ever really put me on edge. I dont know what it is about him but something is NOT right about him.

This might have some base. Anyone notice how Japanese anime or manga drawn ?

Good or cute - Big eyes and big pupils, almost half of the face.
Evil or bad - Either small pupils, or small eyes.
You can differentiate the hero/heroine and the evil guy simply by that. There are lots more hidden in anime/manga but these 2 are most obvious. These mangaka learn body/face language and I guess familiar with the looks.

About these 2 pics, the OIL (1st pic) do have some nasty feeling, while the lizard is mild shocked. The OIL propaganda is scarier.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Not only have I encountered said individuals on a fairly regular basis - I have been the one undergoing said effects.

Can't even begin to tell you how many times I've had concerned strangers whip out cell phones, police pull over and ask me questions, not to mention the stoic and glazed presumption of paramedics.

Funny thing is, I'm just in a heightened "observer mode".

No thoughts of harm to anyone, no attempts at violence or illegal behavior...just a hyperattuned observer state of mind.

Lost in my own world, to some extent, extremely focused on internal processes - yes. I won't deny that.

Am I aware of others undergoing said effect?
Mostly at night, although I do encounter them in the day as well.

Best way to handle the unknown person with said glare?

Brief, emotionless and fixed eye contact and a slight nod or recognition that that poor SOB is most likely going through a rough time, working out things internally - just like anyone else.

Please don't discount the underlying decency and humanity in all cases such as this purely on the basis of those who don't have their mental wiring straight.

Be aware, be alert, but for heavens sake - don't jump to conclusions.

I can't tell you how many times public resources have been wasted simply because I was just lost in thought.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

I do understand where you are coming from, but aren't there more definitive pictures out there that make for better examples?

Nancy Pelosi perhaps?

Or, Hillary?

and the worst eyes ever on the face of the planet!

WOW that second image is just....wow. I was in a "war zone" in my home before I left a sociopathic abuser...and I tell you, that exact look when come upon his face right before he did something nothing short of horrendous. He was truly the sickest person I had ever met...scary *snip*

Almost gave me a flashback.

I know exactly what you are talking about OP.

These are cartoons. They don't really portray anything. If you mean wide eyes you could have said that, no need for a poorly drawn alien.

Met someone like that once. Guy my husband knew through work, that was supposed to be some black ops type. That was probably true. Hubby was in intel at the time, and if anyone knew, they would. At any rate, I never liked this man, always called him "Snake-Boy". Far more interesting was the fact that our dog HATED him. Wonderful, sweet Rottie mix that barked at less than five people ion over a decade. She loved almost everyone. Very good animal, and very smart. With this fellow, she didn't bark. One day, when the guy came to the house (I wasn't home), husband started to open the door, and the dog literally lunged at the crack, trying to get at him. This is a dog that would not even bite another dog that was a threat, preferring to chase it off. Yes, she could do that, and she COULD have killed it, too. Scary fast, but VERY gentle animal. She HATED this man. Of course, he would not come in the house (not that he was welcomed), and I had a habit of taking the dog out on her leach when he was in the yard. Yeah, I am mean that way! Knew it scared him. Would have let the dog eat him had it been me that day, though she did behave on the leash, for me. She knew a snake when she saw one.

Funny. Some family members and myself have had people react as though we were in some sort of "predatory mode", with no reason we could fathom! That said, I have never had a problem with the police, etc. In fact, seem to get treated as though I belong places. Weird, I know. Yet some people just act threatened. I am, I should note, always observant, but that in and of itself should not indicate a threat to anyone. More like looking out for threats.

Real threats telegraph in a number of ways, and are usually pretty easy to spot.

The Pope definitely has the Hannibal Lechter thing going on. Most likely taken during Holy Mass - scary.
