Actually, Fidel Castro now falls into the category of elder statesman and probably should get some respect for his statements.

Sorry about that but the news that bin Laden owns a part of Microsoft is the news that absolutely woke me up...ouch! and double ouch!

If it means anything at all to some erudite spy reading our works through microsoft, I will just say that I recently read that black under the fingernails means mourning in some places of the world.

Or does it mean something else, like having dirty hands...just wondering?

Castro is an idiot. Osama hates the U.S. The first thing the Real Osama said after 9/11 was that he did not do it and it was a long explanation to hit at why he didn't but how he understood why it was done.

A few days later the CIA comes out with a FAKE OBL statement that claimed he did do it and it was very short and to the point but obviously FAKE.

Every statement and video since 9/11 after the very first that hardly anyone heard about has been very fake.

Ah of course...an outsider telling a Cuban what castro is like and what happens in Cuba... typical...

It is a known fact that castro does not allow any independent human rights groups in Cuba AT ALL...

Cuba's problems began with the revolution, since the start of the revolution, and even before the embrago castro , and the socialist/communist regime put in "rationing" since the beginning of castro taking power...

I have shown several times that the socialist/communist regime in Cuba has been doing business with Canada, and in the past with many Europen countries, and MY PEOPLE still went hungry, and were and still continue to be oppressed, and now they go even hungrier...

Reently i have been talking with my family in Cuba and things are now even worse. They can barely find any food even with money. and it is not because of the embargo... It is because castro and the socialist/communist regime do not plant and harvest enough food for Cubans...

There is enough arable land in Cuba to feed EVERY CUBAN, but since the "party/state" owns most of the land, the regime, castro and his thugs, demand for farmers to plant products that make money "for the revolution"... Those products are "Cuban cigars" (which do not feed any Cuban) sugar cane, and other similar products...

When the state owns everything, as it happens in socialism/communism, the "party" decides what is best for the revolution and the party, but they don't do what is best for the people...

But of course when someone who is a Cuban tells the truth to someone like yourself you hide behind the lies of castro, who yes he is a murdering bastard, and so was che guevara...

Members of my family at first fought with castro thinking it was true that things would be better, and at first he didn't describe himself as socialist, but as he took power in Cuba he announced Cuba was now socialist. Then as more socialist programs were implemented the nation became oppressed by communism...

Socialism/communism is nothing more than oppression... Marx himself described that all religions must cease to exist, which means you are forced not to exercise your right to follow any religion or spiritual path, and the people are FORCED to follow the mandates of the party/state" as Marx himself described...

How can you be free when you DON'T have ANY individual right, since it is bad for the party and for the revolution...

How can you be free when you can't own anything at all, the state/party owns everything and they decide what the production should be used for.

The same thing has happened to EVERY NATION which has embraced fully socialism/communism, but people like you don't want to listen to the truth...

Cuba WAS the jewel of the Caribbean before the revolution...

Even with Batista, who WAS PUT IN POWER BY THE SOCIALIST PARTY IN CUBA, the Cuban people were in much better conditions than now BECAUSE CAPITALISM WAS ALLOWED...

There was a tv in every house, including farmers, in Cuba BEFORE the revolution...

Cubans could put food in our tables three times a day and for the most part us Cubans were doing good...

My grandfather on my mother's side was a farmer which owned some land about 80 acres or so, and my grandfather on my father's side owned a bodega, a small store... None of them were EVER rich...

Most of the 80 acres my grandfather owned was taken by the "party/state" as well as the small bodega that my other grandfather owned...

The same happened with most Cubans who owned any piece of land, or were small business owners. The state/party owns all forms of production under socialism/communism...

castro was not fighting against tptb... he was/is fighting against Cubans who were/are trying to have a better life for us and our children...

You people want to complain how "evil the U.S. is for puting in prison terrorists/insurgents"... yet you want to ignore the fact that castro would send his number 1 executioner, che guevara, to quell by any means necessary including murder regular Cuban people to stop them from talking against the things castro was, and has been doing...

che guevara would get an entire family outside their house and in front of family and neighbors he would shoot in the head whoever was talking about freedom or condeming the evils being committed by castro, che guevara and their other thugs...

What has been happening in Cuba is similar to what is happening in Colombia with the communist rebels kidnapping REGULAR COLOMBIANS for ramson, and then killing them if the families cannot pay. But instead of asking for ramson Cubans have been killed, or imprisoned and beaten daily for talking about FREEDOM from the socialist/communist regime...

Cuban jails are still full of book authors, poets, and anyone else who would dare speak up in Cuba against what the socialist/communist regime has been doing...

But for some strange reason, and mostly LEFTISTS who have never lived as Cubans, don't want to believe the truth about Cuba, and instead of believing what the over 2 millions Cuban who are all over the world say about Cuba, people like yourself want to believe the propaganda, and lies which come directly from the socialist/communist regime...

That and the fact that the Cuban Government doesn't want the elite wealthy international vacationers to see the real Cubans while they spend their billions on trips to Cuban paradise resorts. It's hard to say if that might have been different had it not been for the embargo and all the internal and external opposition to him, but the man is rutheless and murderous in his own right nonetheless.

It amazes me that Fidel Castro, a Communist Dictator can read an article that he agrees with and when he declares that he believes the premise of the article to be true, the world, the media and most Americans take notice.

While I have no problem believing the story that Obama is a CIA agent, I find it more than unusual when some dictator makes the statement as opposed to someone in America who states the same thing. Why some Cuban dictator is more believable than some American is to me an insult to common sense. Especially since Fidel Castro only read an article on Wiki-leaks.

The only reason I raise this point is because I have been repeatedly posting reply's right here on ATS for at least as long as Obama has been in office trying to convince others of the same allegation, that Obama was and still is a CIA agent.

While I realize the difference between an opinion and an established fact, you would think someone sooner than this recent thread would have noticed that right here on ATS someone has been repeatedly saying the same thing and more with no one giving the least little bit of concern because of course its too fantastical to believe and of course without all the 8X10 glossy photographs, most on ATS wont believe anything and even I did have the evidence, it would be called fake or fabricated.

This latest revelation is no revelation to me since I have been writing about this CIA connection for over 18 months. In that time I have heard enough hate and stupidity to last me a life time. What it has taught me is to keep my knowledge to myself and even if no one wants to admit that I have been right for over 18 months in stating what I was stating. I now think it is time for all those pundits that laughed at my expense when I tried to reveal the same CIA connection to review the rest of the allegations and begin connecting the dots on your own.

There is much more to the CIA connection than most want to consider, and until the whole reason "WHY" is discussed, no one will fully understand the complexity of what the CIA connections actually means in the scheme of things.

Thanks for the posting, but I guess I should thank Fidel Castro, a known dictator for at least acknowledging what I have been stating for almost two years. Even without Fidel Castro's tacit admission of such a CIA connection, I would still be stating the same information.

I find solace in knowing I was right, but I didn't need Fidel Castro's acknowledgment for such a theory to know I was right. I wrote what I did to warn the public. It's sad so many don't know a warning when they read one, but course this could be the "too close to the forest to see the trees" syndrome.

Not really sure, because I haven't read the entire Wikileaks recent release about home grown terrorism from the US, but could what Ol' Castro be saying have anything to do with the document? Could it possibly be a snippet of a larger document that entails government trained and paid "terrorists" to keep the masses in a fear induced compliance?
