If mankind was endowed with the ability to breed and create life, is this not evidence that man-king Is Of the Creator? Is not man'kind' the only life on earth that could achieve this? Of course. Perspective is key; The key to Creation. Stewardry is an Obligation. The effects.....in perpetuity.

On a serious note, it takes a person & people like him to achieve things like this.... It may seem insignificant BUT we are all aware of the decline of bees and the effect that will have on humanity in years to come....

smart move by an even smarter bee keeper , selective breeding is a bonus for the bees !

no doubt bee keepers have been doing this for hundreds of years !

Bee's are my favourite insects , just before I left for my holidays two weeks ago it was really hot and had been raining really heavy for over an hour , I had my window open and in flew a bee obviously soaking wet and it sat on my lamp shade cleaning the water of its fur .

Once it was clean and had no water left on it it simply flew round the room once as a thankyou then shot out the window again , it was really thrilling to see the little bee come in for a quick break

Interbreeding is merely giving nature a helping hand, not messing with it like genetic modification. And bees that groom eachother are probably going to be too chilled out to be more aggressive than usual wouldn't you say?

I believe it is a combination of factors, the mites are one.

I have posted the same link in page 2 re mobile phones + monsanto etc.

Its only a theory was an amazing programme! At the time that was the only BBC programme I watched, week on week. Good to see the licence fee going towards something new for a change!

Quick question...So it is in fact these mites and mites like these that have been the major reason for the "rumored" mass disappearnce of bees? All across the world? Or only in the U.S. or what?

If you watch the video I posted a few pages back he explains most of the problems in more detail. Seems to be a combination of their natural habitat shrinking year on year, the mites and other things

nooooooooooooo i hate bees, why cant we just let them die? really who wants bees so much, and yes we dont need them we got bumbel bees they are cute and dont sting but do the same work so i dont see why we need them bees. ps honey sucks so dont need it.
