In no certain order...

1. Corexit killing the whole east coast of america - FAIL
2. Cracks in the ocean floor - FAIL
3. ...(I've lost interest and don't care about reading more theories)
x. (But wait?) GIANT PLUME - FAIL

I wonder what comes next?

Given the makeup and concentration -- in excess of 50 micrograms per liter -- the researchers concluded that the plume could not have developed from natural seepage.

50 ug/l is only 50 parts per billion unless i'm mistaken. That's a very low concentration of contaminants which may or may not be toxic.

Please may or may not? wiki benzene and the allowable concentration as I assure you it is there along with methylene chloride.
Too much out of sight out of mind thinking. instead of saying drop in the bucket no big whoop how about, how many more drops can we live with?
To all you folks paying this down please tell me how much is too much? Obviously this isn't to you so please tell me when it will be?
