New CPU - Can I use the old Heatsink and Fan?

I recently ordered a AMD A64 x2 4200+ Socket 939 (one of the few DCs made for the 939) for my computer. I am using a A64 4000+ 2.4 SC right now.

Specs:

MSI K8NGM2 Mobo with a AMD A64 4000+ 2.4ghz. 4 gigs ddr.

I was wondering if until I could get a new cooler for it if my old one would work and keep the DC cool enough?

Are you talking about the stock equipment? or is this aftermarket?

Stock, but this thread is irrelevant anyway since I ordered an aftermarket fan.
