This is the epitome of what an indy crew can do with a couple of cameras, field recorders and dedication.
Great story/screenplay that grabbed your attention, incredibly believable cast, flawless direction by Debra Granik; captured a place in America that
few even know exists.
It was the characters and the wonderful acting that actually made this movie so engrossing. It's no wonder this film was the big winner at Sundance.
It wasn't perfect as there were a few continuity glitches but this was a powerful film.
