"There were a lot of different color iterations," says Ruth Kedar, the graphic designer who developed the now-famous logo. "We ended up with the primary colors, but instead of having the pattern go in order, we put a secondary color on the L, which brought back the idea that Google doesn't follow the rules."
The use of primary colors - blue, yellow and red - was born of the same desire, to design something that at first sight wouldn't be threatening.
"With green there is something that stands on its own, that's not apologizing," she said, "and also the two Os that lean slightly to their sides. This gives a little drive to the logo, but also shows that nothing on this site is standard."
I suppose that depends on how you define powerful. From just a dollar standpoint, Exxon has a market cap of 306 billion, Apple at 231 billion, Microsoft at 215 billion, and Google at 154 billion.

I don't think masons funded educational organizations but
would the Illuminati could direct the masons to the educational
forces and say hey we have a plan for the internet why don't
you come along.
Microsoft, the non Google, not included.
Thus Google fresh out of internet school has the inside track.
