Just caught the rerun. Good research.


Basically Arthur is a composite of a bunch of Roman battallion leaders that fought the Saxons.

The myth (that he was an English King) was written during the bloody War of the Roses centuries later as an appeal to sanity and unity.

I was amazed how Roman the influences were.
