I am with you. There is nothing Above Top Secret, or even Top Secret, or even Secret in 90% of the threads on the front page. There is a new thread on Atheism or the NYC mosque every time someone has a feeling and most the news is just plain old boring news.

There was a brief episode in this thread where people started to suggest names, but a moderator shut it down in this post.

Some of them are pretty funny, but I got the distinct impression that such a contest wasn't wanted here

A gay bar is open provocation and infringing on the right to peace and freedom to worship as you please.... homosexuality is an abomination to all religions but I prefer Christianity's approach on this matter when it is said "judge not"; everyone deserves a chance to live peacefully and live as they please to make the conversion or not.... I believe religion should be tolerant of the gay community and the gay community should be tolerant of the religious, homophobic and openly in disagreement with homosexuality, orders of the world. If we have zero tolerance for negotiating with terrorists we should have zero tolerance for religious harassers... peace should be the motive for any religion that is accepted in a peaceful society.... if war is their god they should not be allowed to worship freely until their God can stand trial, sarcasm but truthfully at least until their God can find a peaceful means of coexisting and tolerating other Gods; hmmn a jealous God is probably a bad thing then but anyway..... Peace is the End and zero tolerance for disrespect is the means

Ah yes, his argument is so bad you did nothing to comment on it and instead insulted him and his belief system.

I am not sure of the current designation of the World Trade Center site, but perhaps it should have a designation as a National Historic Site to provide permanent protection. In relation to this question, there is a valid question about "appropriate use and development" of a buffer area surrounding the site. This should be done by the organizations representing victims of the attack and civic authorities, including the City of New York. I think it is unfortunate that people are using the site to continue a propoganda campaign against western culture on the pretext that they are simply practising their freedom of religion.

What ever happened to Gutfields proposal?
