Air Force launch Advanced new communications satellite

Just thought I'd post this up I couldn't find anything about it in a search.

The US Airforce have just launched a new advanced communications satellite, the AEHF 1 (Advanced Extremely High Frequency program) which is an encrypted coms satellite, resistant to jammers and detection.

The standout feature I found most interesting though is stated that it has "the ability to penetrate the electro-magnetic interference caused by nuclear weapons".

Makes you wonder what the US military thinks/knows is coming in the not too distant future! Interesting, what with the shared military exercises near Korea!
