If you want to research a truly evil cult/religion, I suggest to focus on Scientology.

How many innocent people have been murdered in the name of Scientology or by Scientologists intent on enforcing their religous beliefs on other people?

Whilst I think that Scientology has some quite odious aspects and deserves to be exposed as the all controlling manipulative organisation it is, but to compare it to the barbarism and indiscriminant murdering carried out by Islamic extremists is highly innacurate and most unfair.

It was not my intention to directly compair and your point is well received.
I do think though that Scientology tends to teach hartred and distrust of non-scientologists to all their members, unlike Islam.

That does not detract from the millions killed in the name of Islam, Christianity and Jewish faiths.
