Mayne Island will be interesting to you guys, because lots of old rockers and rich people keep homes on this island.

I have family that live out there, and this summer while going to visit some guys on the ferry over to Gabriola / Mayne were rather shockingly looking for an opportunity with one of the children in our party. My mother overhead a comment when she was approaching the child in question but they didn't see her about how the "parents are watching too close."

That's me btw.

The boldness and the commraderie of these people shows that they are confident and stupid in their shared perversion.

I don't have enough to go to any police with, just so you know why I put this here. Nothing happened - and creepy acting pervs isn't actionable.

I put this here in hopes that someone who has the skillz, or the interest to websleuth this connection might be peaked into doing so.

I think you'll find that there is a pedophile ring with connections to real estate agents, and the Southwest Coast Islands of BC. One that appears to be so confident in themselves that they surely leave a trail around for someone to find.

Apparently the police in the province haven't put two and two together yet. Not surprising for a province that let Pickton go for so long - and one that still doesn't seem to be following up on the gangster connection or Native Reserve burials for favours angles that seem to be attached to his case.

You have to understand the the police are a 'reactive' force. They were never meant to be 'proactive'.

If no one comes forth, then the police are hamstrung unless they have something to investigate, and hearsay is not proof.

True - but if I am correct, the thing to react to is out there. And someone with the right set of skills pointed in the right direction might make it show up to be reacted to.

The saddest thing is if they were stealing money it would get more attention.

This on a National level, is like a little bit of incest in the family. People don't want to air their "dirty laundry" so to speak in public so, they just smile and go about their day and pretend like these things are not happening right in their midst.

Soon, I think the time is near when we will begin to value children as we should. Not fast enough for many unfortunate and forgotten children. 800 thousand go missing each year in the US. 2000 children a month.

from all I have gathered it sounds like the police & government agencies in general in that area are more corrupt/involved in organized crime than incompetent. in situations like that going to them is more likely to get you killed than get anything done. beyond a lynch mob I dont know what will help resolve this problem. seems like its more and more common everyday. I know the good people have to start taking the world back somehow. I have seen with my own eyes that the law wont help in these situations. have to figure out a way to beat them at their own game so to speak.

Somehow i am of the impression that the british justice system which canada inherited, actually somehow attracts pervs to it ranks,,,witness the rcmps and guards watching the female aids prisoner seduce the unifected prisoner in cells without stopping it.
I truly believe that youll find more wierdos in law enforcement and the system than out on the street.
perhaps this is just an impression however it has been formed by circumstance.

I don't know if the psychiatrist was the same guy. I do know that one of the psychiatrists who has been convicted of sex and child porn charges in the area was also treating specifically people who have been sexually assaulted as children.

He was very big on blaming mothers and claiming recovered memories are false.

I happen to know one of his now ex-patients. His "counselling" motivated by protecting his own kind in the face of what she has already had to put up with makes me very very angry.

Another family member was the one who overheard it - she is the level headed one of the bunch of us.

While I noticed the guys, I didn't hear it myself.

I believe she didn't say anything at the time out of the urge to protect us.

In that, she was probably aware that the car on the ferry whose owners failed to show up would probably eventually lead to one or more of us.
