hello all, i am wondering how to get gas out of the tank it has a1/2 tank of gas i would like to save. I have tried to use the fuel pump but the battery runs down. it has a blown eng and would like to empty the gas from the tank. any thoughts?

I use to own one of these! that year also!
Couldn't you just grab a length of hose, stick one end into the tank - other end into a container, create suction at the container end of the hose and let it drain itself???

no that is the problem i forgot to mention that it has anti siphon, and the fuel pump is in tank. So what can be done?

Maybe if you aren't using the car again you could drill or punch a hole through the tank either in the side or underneath, bypass the filter thingy that's preventing you from pushing a hose in and drain it that way?

thanks i will use that as last option, would like to sell the car less motor as parts car, but some times one needs to do one needs to do.
