Right I have noticed recently some threads getting allot of attention that have nothing to do with conspiracies. I haven’t been active on ATS for very so I don’t know if this has always been the case but it’s very annoying trying to filter through all of the “look at my UFO picture” threads. There are quite allot of these threads on ATS that have nothing to do with conspiracies you know the “I was abducted, but have not proof”, “look at this pretty picture”, “I hate...”, “here is an idea” threads. For the record i think these threads are good, they are informative and well written I myself I have wrote quite a few of them.

The problem is that some really good threads are becoming lost and forgotten. I am talking about threads that contain well thought out logical conspiracy theories that are well sourced and its clear allot of work has gone into them, they are allot more than just a idea or a headline. There is nothing more annoying than spending days or sometimes weeks to a computer screen only to post the thread for it to get 5 or 6 flags and a couple of responses because everybody is off flagging and talking about how they were abducted by UFO’s. Sorry if I sound bitter, but I suppose really I am. I understand that different people are interested in different things but I think my point about some really good threads getting lost and forgotten still stands.

The question then is how we resolve this problem without putting a stop to the other threads. I have an idea, I don’t know if it’s been suggested before if it has then I am bringing it up again. Why don’t we have a forum that the Mods can move the best of the best threads into, the ones that they applause and were its clear allot of work has gone into the thread. We could call it the “ATS Super Forum”, have it right up at the top of the board page, and that is the only place these threads can be found so as not to unfairly silence the other threads. I know that the front page almost fulfils this job however its determined by flags, and not necessarily by the effort put into creating the thread.

Anyone else think this could be a good workable Idea.

Sounds like a perfect question for *David Copperfield hands* ATS Issues.

Please add your question there.

Peace
