Maes said last week that an international environmental group that promotes Denver’s B-Cycle program is part of a "greater strategy to rein in American cities under a United Nations treaty."

To me it looks like someone who has a hand in the oil industry is feeling a little threatened. How can encouraging more people to ride bikes be anything but healthier for the body and better for the environment? What an idiot.

You are right this is funny, in a fringe kinda way. What's next carpooling is a Socialist plot against the car manufacturers? Or Vespa retailers secretly work for the NWO?

Although this fellow may sound clownish. ICLEI is involved in far more then putting citizens on bikes. I personally do not find the United Nations agendas benign. These pay bike racks are all over Denver. Little do people realize they may be funding several noxious UN agendas.

Renting it is parasitic, ppl should be allowed to buy them on extreme
low or no interest loans.

As I have said I think a Co-op would do this best vs. government.

Corporations and government are fundamentally corrupt.

I think that recycled aluminum could go to make a strong and safe
trike that can haul groceries and will not easily tip over.

It would be all aluminum and have foam filled tires that never go flat.

It would not rust, it would not need paint.

The chain could be made of stainless steel or another material
that is strong and does not rust, or it could be belt driven for
that matter.

You could make it an electric bike that runs on the new paper batteries.

Some e-bikes on youtube go 75 mph which is probably too fast to be safe.



A lot of ppl already ride scooters, just swap out the drive train.

With Coastal windpower, ocean current power, and jet stream power
we have many many times the power to run everything.

1% of the jet streams alone would replace all forms of power on earth.
