* Alert * Aug. 1 : Bursts coming from sea floor --far away from ROV thrusters

Stationary R.O.V. camera films gas discharge from the sea floor that I would assume would be methane.

If there is a huge pocket of methane that is permeating through the ocean floor that is being reported on the net, then this is what you would expect to see if true.

I am no geological expert by any means , but from what I have read is that the sea floor has been compromised with a huge methane bubble that is steadily degrading the sea floor with its intense pressure.


I don't think this disaster is close to being over yet.

Indeed, I hope all these "the sea floor is lifting" and "methane burst" threads are misinterpreting the vision from the ROV's, because if not, then wow, some bad times ahead.

However, now is not the time to get bogged down in fear and paranoia.

That has nothing to do with my statement.

I've been watching for a while now too. So i understand the desire to want all this time to be fruitful. To find the glitch in the matrix. But thats just ego.

MAybe we are indeed seeing something dire. But i suspect it is something quite benign. minor releases if anything. IF the sea floor is going to burst, IMO, it will be enormous and you will not get any live feed because they rovs will be gone in a rush of crude, methane and water.

i sincerely doubt you will see a small crack or cracks slowly open up. perhaps these could be precursers to a large collapse, but it seems like if something like that were to occur, it would look MUCH more extreme than the relatively small disturbances we keep seeing 'evidence' of.

Thats my totally uninformed opinion. take it or leave it.


regardless, i think sometimes we get a little too worked up watching those feeds.

Sitting watching this video it looks like when the purge completes, like a breath going out, there is a sucking which follows like an in breath.

You see the little particles floating towards the center of the fracture and then as it releases, they get pushed outward.

It's not the floor rising and falling it is the rover falling and rising. Notice the dirt cloud being kicked up under the rover as it moves? That is a propeller fan kicking on from the rover. Yes it appears as if it is the floor it is an optical illusion. If it was the floor then the floor underneath would have disrupted the rover. It appears the rover is taking samples from the ocean floor. Well that is what I am seeing at least am I alone?

INteresting video, could well be what Pharyax says about the propellers when move the rover. But in the first video, the "leaks" are coming from infront of it, not underneath it. Anyway, I suspect this is all quite normal, as the cams are set up here, maybe this is what they're watching.
