How could the bad weather affect the laser stationed in space? I think we are talking about Star wars - shooting down balistic misilles. Now tell me how could a bad weather afect the shotdown of enemy balistic misille by laser stationed let's say 300 km over Earth surface?

I think what your ttrying to pint out is that an ICBM intercept will take place well above any weather effect eh?

Bingo. ICBM are flying up to 1000 km over the Earth surface. I know that the ICBM should be destroyed early after the start, so let's say when it's 100-150 km over surface. It is way above all clouds and weather effects.
