Now ATS I will be the first to say that this is very unusual, a earthquake in LA? I understand that i was 5km underground but that still raises some eyebrows. Umm did BP try and nuke the well? Was HAARP testing some new weapon? Or did the seafloor just burp from all of the methane gas? Who knows, so what do you guys think?

Let's go with logic here and say this is a normal event in the Earth's crust moving. That has to be the reason!

found this link for a detailed pdf file on seismic and fault information for the area from the Louisiana Geological Survey written in 2001.

An excerpt from the report: "Evidence of the existence of most of the faults in south Louisiana was originally provided by data gathered from many years of underground oil exploration.

Drilling into the earth and mapping fault lines; So, the oil companies and the government thinks that sounds ok? and that was in 2001.
