Firms Contracting With U.S. Government Flout Iran Sanctions Law, Watchdog Says

Two multinational corporations that have earned millions of dollars in U.S. government contracts are conducting business with Iran in violation of the recently signed sanctions law, according to an Iran watchdog group that has provided its research to FoxNews.com.
United Against Nuclear Iran, a non-profit devoted to monitoring the rogue nation, claims that the Danish shipping giant Maersk and Komatsu, a Japanese firm that specializes in construction equipment manufacturing, are flouting U.S. law by continuing to do business in Iran.

The repitition of laws in the United States is very numerous, as there are laws already on the books against companies doing business with the country of Iran, and have been ever since they were first signed into office. The question should be, will the government start enforcing the laws that they have enacted both in the past and current, or will this be like any other law out there, where some are enacted and delibertly ignored. Ever since the first set of laws that forbid companies from doing direct business with a particular country, many businesses who have a vested interest in those countries, tend to find loopholes and seek to skirt those laws, where they continue to do business no matter what the consequences are. If they are going to develope laws that have teeth, then the federal government has to be willing, no matter how painful, no matter if the business has given money to a canidate or not, to take out that company legally and punish them, having not only teeth, but also a backbone.

'United against Nuclear Iran' to me, is a big poker game, and Iran is the game subject. Except, that is it not so much a gamble as to the outcome, but having to pay a tithe just to get into the game, then reap the rewards after.
