stigmatic curse?

I obviously have a lot of questions about religion thank you all for helping me answer my queations so here is another one. The stigmatic curse; have any of the people with this "curse" been seen by medical experts and if so what was the conclusion. from what i have read and understand some of these people bleed for years from their wounds. This brings me to my next question; the people with this "curse" have bleeding holes in their hands and other places but hasn't it been proven the nails would have had to go through the wrists because the hands wouldn't hold the body weight. which would make this "curse" inacurate. I dont know can someone help
