You should try listening to him say it himself instead of reading some slanted quoting. Context means everything sometimes.

I am not necessarily trying to defend his choice of word here but he definitely was not attacking anyone with it because it started with "WE ARE." The first person he called a mongrel was himself so while it may have been a poor choice of words, you will have a hard time making any victim case out of the actual statement he made.

Me too.

The thing I find most interesting about Obama is - - he does not jump when certain people/groups/factions say jump.

I'm smart enough to know the presidency is not one person. But he seems to take a methodical approach to all things. To take the time to study and examine. I much prefer it to "gut feeling" and "god told me so".

Obama could've used another term for mixed heritage than a term that is considered derogatory. His choice of words shows the world his lack of judgement.

Pick out some "nice" words from this list:

It's just like when he used the A-word when addressing who was responsible for the Horizon explosion and Gulf oil leak.

I'm really, really disappointed in ATS these days...I would have expected more of a pick up from this story of this quote from the same interview...

Obama should pay much attention on his words,actually it is ok if he just speak of himself ,but it is a hurt and insult to speak of all the African-Americans.
