Came across this, personally I think it is quite bizarre.

Surely this is a hoax.

Would certainly change perceptions of warfare.

# Cook a game bird in one piece
# No shot left in the bird
# Season on impact
# The answer: Season Shot

Our environment is the basis for the sport of hunting. Without a healthy enviroment how would our hunting fare? Why damage the very thing that allows us to do what we love? Season Shot is the answer.
This is the first truly environmentally safe ammunition, Season Shot stands out above the rest. Using fully biodegradable shot, Season Shot is the right choice to protect what we love.

HOW IT WORKS

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/2694e799b6a9.png[/atsimg]

Season Shot is made of tightly packed seasoning bound by a fully biodegradable food product. The seasoning is actually injected into the bird on impact seasoning the meat from the inside out. When the bird is cooked the seasoning pellets melt into the meat spreading the flavor to the entire bird. Forget worrying about shot breaking your teeth and start wondering about which flavor shot to use!

1. Load your gun with Season Shot and let the hunt begin. Watch as your bird is seasoned on impact leaving no harmful waste behind in the environment.

2. Forget about removing shot, prepare the whole bird for dinner! The Season Shot pellets will melt in the oven seasoning the entire bird.

3. Enjoy! No wasted time, no wasted meat, no waste left behind. Finally there's a better way!

Now just have to figure out how to clean & gut it in the same shot.

HOW IT HAPPENED

I was watching a friend prepare a game bird for dinner. Mindful of the dental damage steel shots can cause, he started by discarding portions of the bird - too small, too much trouble. Then, to my amazement, he took the breast and started to mash it. Here a BB, there a BB - If he misses any the dentist is sure to know. What started out as a game bird, became a small pile of glop. Grab a bottle, a top, and a label, and you got baby food. DANG!
I left my friend to his dining experience, went home, and started testing. A little of this, a little of that, a dash or two of such and such, gun powder, a shell, hardened seasoned pellets BANG! The bird falls down - the seasoned pellets are in place. The heat from the stove melts the pellets. The result? Nibbles of wings and drummies, chunks of breast - no glop. No glop. No dentist. Hello world! Let’s eat!

As news of my invention spread, the reactions from hunters and non-hunters alike have been electrifying - first amusement, then amazement.

COMPARED TO OTHER BRANDS

SEASON SHOT
1. Our ammo has flavor
2. Seasoning from the field to the stove
3. Season Shot is nature friendly leaving no shot to litter our environment
4. No shot left in the bird to chip your teeth
5. Cook the ENTIRE bird as it's flavored from the inside out!

OTHER BRANDS
1. No flavor here
2. Seasoning after the bird has been breasted
3. Even non-toxic shot clutters our environment with unwanted litter
4. Traditional ammo forces you to breast your bird losing time and meat
5. With traditional ammo it's hard enough to cook a whole bird let alone season it from the inside

Just love this part.

Season Shot is coming soon in these flavors:

» Cajun
» Lemon Pepper
» Garlic
» Teriyaki
» Honey Mustard

CRAZY or a bloody good idea, you make the call.

It's been "coming soon" since 2006.

Pretty "hoaxy".

Though I dont see it as impossible.

A typical vitamin pill is essentially what they describe and a hard pill fired from gun should easily kill upland game.

Maybe for the camp this could be convenient but for taking game home and preparing it it's pretty stupid.

What form do the ingredients take it they melt in the oven. Most seasonings I know of are spices & don't melt, usually just bake to where it cumbles, not melt like butter does.
