quite some time ago there was a thread with alot of crazy deep sea fish and a couple of actual yet to be classified species. i think the us navy was pulling them up.

does anyone remeber this or have the link?




here is a link with some deep sea pics, but it is not near as good as the other one, i thought i bookmarked it oh well

this related to the ratfish, same genus as the ones found off the coast of brazil


anybody hungry for some blobfish casserole? man that blobfish looks really alien to me. i guess deep down in the ocean is pretty much a whole 'notha world. not as much as the thermal vent 'notha world though.

oh, yea alien vs. predator is what is coming out of lake vostok.
