HELP I havent been able to post because of my cookies

What do my cookies pose a problem after all these years?

I,M on a Blackberry right now.
Can someone tell me how to fix cookies?

What kind of OS does a blackberry have?

Totally unfamiliar with it. I could do some googling if you tell me the model and the OS.

Go to Market Basket and buy some cookies already baked.

Throw those old cookie away - they're probably stale.

endisnighe: I think she said that because she can't post from her regular PC...she is using th BB to post her problem. Remember - she can't post?

dg - what browser do you use?

There should be some sort of settings thing for either your internet or your whole phone. In there you should find something dealing with cookies and history, which it would be good to clear all of that out every once and a while.

I am just guessing though. I don't know much about the blackberry.

Duh, oh well. Yes, need some more info. If you want to, I use CCleaner to clear my cache, cookies, temp internet folder. Nice browser and computer cleaner. If I remember correctly, I think you said OP that you had dial up, just going by memory, could have been you or someone else.

Need info on the browser you are using OP.

LOL. Its not the phone, its my laptoP. I have Windows Explorer 7 still. I try logging in and I get a message from ats saying I don't have cookies. I do too have cookies. I use Norton and they always want me to erase them.
What does having lost my cookies have to do with my trying to log in?

I must be losing more than cookies

Btw posting on a phone is a real pain.

I have gotten that before when using a friends computer...all I did was refresh the page and re-login...it's worked for me every time...

If using firefox double check that in your tools-options-privacy the cookies are accepted. You do not need to accept third party cookies.

As for Norton clearing your cookies, I do not know that antivirus or if it has the firewall too, not familiar. But it should have a place in it that will allow you to keep cookies from certain sites.

Also, MemoryShock has it right, if the refresh does not work. Try shutting down your browser and then restarting it.

What you're probably seeing is a message saying you must have cookies enabled. If you flush them every time you shut down, you'll likely get that message when you return.

Agreed, refresh/reload page and you'll likely be able to log in. The refresh/reload will show the cookie and you'll be good to go.

Remove cookies from a BlackBerry Curve
1.Step 1
Launch the BlackBerry web browser from the main device menu screen. You will need to have the browser open in order to delete the cookies.

hope it helps...but i would think you have a cookie on your blackberry that is blocking access.

I would download and install mozilla firefox, and only use it as your browser. Do not import anything and set it as default. Ensure its icon is on you desktop and affixed to the start menu. Then you can always clear all history under tools, and you are not as virus prone as in explorer, plus can get many add ons, such as download helper, pdfit, and a variety of add ons.

If it wasn't for the games my kids play, I wouldn't even have windows, and I'm 9/10 in linux. But then you have to be somewhat careful, my microphone only has windows drivers apparently, so if I want to use it or the kids, we have to go into windows, which I hate doing.
A usb one would have solved that. If you do look into linux, pclinuxos and mepis are two of the very best and ubuntu is a headache beyond trying to get the codex's and also your monitor's resolution, sure they can be solved, if you want to take a week researching each problem, which I don't. Pclinux works out of the box for most people, and is the best I have ever tried out of many distros. Its free, you can download it, burn it off using a free program. I would never use the windows one, just google "open source iso burner for windows" to get a good one.

And best of all, you don't have to install it to see if it works, it has livecd mode.


Then you can get some really yummy desktop changes if you have 3d video, such as compiz/beryl
