How do we embed videos from Vimeo, Veoh, etc?

Recently I saw video embedded that wasn't from Youtube or Google Video (same thing). I'm reallyhoping it's now possible to post videos from a source other than the monopolistic Youtube/Google. Besides GoogleV doesn't even accept uploads anymore.

Last I heard they were working on including that ability with the new changes, so maybe it is on the way?
I have noticed too that when there is a vid out and it is not on utube, more often than not the same vid winds up on utuvbe/google vid, the same day or shortly thereafter. For the sake of posting breaking info though, it would be nice to have embedding options.

Thanks, but tht's not what I was looking for. The upload policy here is as strict as it gets, which is fine, but then the ability to embed also follows the strict guidelines of Google owned hosting services only.

I really wish a mod could say a sentence or two.

Well, ATS uses BBcode, i'm almost certain any video site than gives you an "embedded" label should be able to be posted on here you just put [video] embed code here [/video] of course I could be totally wrong, but worth a shot
