Russian Scientists Find Third Generation of Hamsters Sterilized by GM Soy

The release of this new information provides yet another health risk, and confirmation on earlier problems related to fertility, birth weight of offspring, and infant mortality.

In this feeding study they used hamsters, an animal which has not been previously featured in GM safety studies.

One group of hamsters was fed a normal diet without any soy whatsoever, a second group was fed non-GMO soy, a third ate GM soy, and a fourth group ate an even higher amount of GM soy than the third.

Using the same genetically modified (GM) soy that is produced on over 90 percent of the soy acreage in the US, the hamsters and their offspring were fed their respective diets over a period of two years, during which time the researchers evaluated three generations of hamsters.

First they took five pairs of hamsters from each group, each of which produced about seven to eight litters each, totaling about 140 animals.

At first all went well, but serious problems became apparent when they selected new pairs from the offspring.

The first problem was that this second generation had a slower growth rate and reached their sexual maturity later than normal.

However, this second generation eventually generated another 39 litters:

* The no-soy control group had 52 pups
* The non-GM soy had 78
* The GM soy had only 40, of which 25 percent died

So these second-generation GM soy-fed hamsters had a five-fold higher infant mortality rate, compared to the 5 percent normal death rate that was happening in the controls.

Nearly All of the Third-Generation GMO Babies Were Sterile!

But then an even bigger problem became apparent, because nearly all of the third generation hamsters lost the ability to have babies altogether.

Only a single third-generation female hamster gave birth to 16 pups, and of those, one fifth died.

In short, nearly the entire third generation of GM soy eaters were sterile!

I understand that many food manufacturers who make foods with trans fats in them just reduced the stated serving size because they were allowed to have so much per serving and could still be called trans fat free...

As long as a given product has less than .5 grams of trans-fat per serving, the manufacturer is allowed to claim it as trans-fat free. Problem is, most products contain multiple servings. For instance, 1 serving of potato chips may contain only .4 grams, and yet NOBODY sits down and has only one serving of chips.

here is a regemin that apparently cures type two diabeties
5 serving whole grains
4 servings deep green vegetables
3 servings fruit not grapes or oranges
2 servings lean protien
1hour exercise
half your body weight in pounds = water in onces.

What's this about?

I heard a David Sandoval, a Dr I think, On a radio show, The Power Hour with Joyce Riley, On Genesis Communications Network.
He said that people who followed that diet had their diabetes and a host of other problems disappear.
The problem was more than half the people couldn't stay on the plan, and so they went back to having their same problems, which touches on the aspect of food and chemical addiction. I haven't researched it though, to see if it stands up, Riley is an ex army nurse and she is usually right on the money, and a day early too.

I am not a fan of Soy because they have been saying that it is rough on the rats, and it has something to do with Mono sodium Glutamate...the labeling practices are so arcane its scary.Like the bit about the trans fats sleight of hand. Natural flavors I think falls into this category too.

The diet I mentioned, if organic, almost seems like a given that it would promote health...

90% of the U.S. soy crop is GMO (genetically mutatant) 80% of the corn crop is GMO as well. Monsanto who makes the seeds for this genetic freak food is eyeing our wheat as well. If you eat GMO crops, who knows what it will do to you. I don't think Monsanto cares about you and me, do you? I think like any corporation, they just want to make money and if you eat their Frankenstein food and grow a third eye in the back of your head....or your kids develope ADHD or ADD or autism...they could care less.

I had breast cancer over 15 years ago. I was told by my nutritionist to not have any soy product. I found out 'I Can't Believe it's Not Butter' spray margarine is soy.

This is a little discouraging..... basically almost everything we consume is GM. I feel like I can't eat anything. Our meats have steroids, etc in them, our water has fluoride, our produce is sprayed with pesticides and GMO. The list can go on and on.

And I tried to grow a garden this year...but no veggies are even growing! I blame it on the complex I live in spraying for bees.

Having some soy products here and there will do no harm, but having Soy make up a a large part of your diet like many vegetarians will. I would steer clear of it, both for health reasons and because along with palm oil it is devastating forests...always found it funny that vegetarians have no problem eating soy products given this fact.

One thing I know is it caused me hell for years, I was breaking out so bad, while I was eating soy and didnt know that was what was causing it, it took me so long to isolate the problem. Even soybean oil makes me break out, with really awful under the surface bumps and it does increase the risk of cancer, it used to be considered toxic until they came up with the fermentation process made to produce soy sauce, but now, its become a cash crop, ever wonder why vegetarians look so sick? Because they are using that crap as a major source of protein.

There's two problems:

1. Exercising regularly on a calorically restricted diet will lead to lethargy, lower body temperature and general lack of energy.

2. Low fat diets are depressing. Literally.

So...there's a reason why nobody sticks to them.

yeah that would make sense..
so then some how brain chemistry must be taken into account...
A non dietary apetite stimulant ...

In a northern climate fat is even more important...

I don't have food issues other than I am trying to get off grid.
And I have found wild food has its charms

But it would be nice to have some idea of how to deal with the needs of dietarily challenged people in a SHTF or just a monsanto dominated situation.

No one should eat any Soy or Peanuts or any GMO foods. It's not just the estrogens in it. The Enzyme Inhibitors and Phytic acid are just as bad maybe worse since the protein digesting Pancreatic Enzymes Chymotrypsin and Trypsin are the bodies 1st line of defense against tumors, cysts or any abnormal growths.

www.drkelley.com...

Soy Dangers Summarised
SOY DANGERS:

High levels of phytic acid in soy reduce assimilation of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc. Phytic acid in soy is not neutralized by ordinary preparation methods such as soaking, sprouting and long, slow cooking. High phytate diets have caused growth problems in children.

Trypsin inhibitors in soy interfere with protein digestion and may cause pancreatic orders. In test animals soy containing trypsin inhibitors caused stunted growth.

Soy phytoestrogens disrupt endocrine function and have the potential to cause infertility and to promote breast cancer in adult women.

Soy phytoestrogens are potent antithyroid agents that cause hypothyroidism and may cause thyroid cancer. In infants, consumption of soy formula has been linked to autoimmune thyroid disease.

Vitamin B12 analogs in soy are not absorbed and actually increase the body’s requirement for B12.

Soy foods increase the body’s requirement for vitamin D.

Fragile proteins are denatured during high temperature processing to make soy protein isolate and textured vegetable protein.

Processing of soy protein results in the formation of toxic lysinoalanine and highly carcinogenic nitrosamines.

Free glutamic acid or MSG, a potent neurotoxin, is formed during soy food processing and added to many soy foods.

Soy foods contain high levels of aluminum which is toxic to the nervous system and the kidneys.

SOY INFANT FORMULA — BIRTH CONTROL PILLS FOR BABIES

Babies fed soy-based formula have 13,000 to 22,000 times more estrogen compounds in their blood than babies fed milk-based formula.

Infants exclusively fed soy formula receive the estrogenic equivalent of at least five birth control pills per day.

Male infants undergo a “testosterone surge” during the first few months of life, when testosterone levels may be as high as those of an adult male. During this period, baby boys are programmed to express male characteristics after puberty, not only in the development of their sexual organs and other masculine physical traits, but also in setting patterns in the brain characteristic of male behavior.

Pediatricians are noticing greater numbers of boys whose physical maturation is delayed, or does not occur at all, including lack of development of the sexual organs. Learning disabilities, especially in male children, have reached epidemic proportions.

Soy infant feeding—which floods the bloodstream with female hormones that inhibit testosterone—cannot be ignored as a possible cause for these tragic developments. In animals, soy feeding indicates that phytoestrogens in soy are powerful endocrine disrupters.

Almost 15 percent of white girls and 50 percent of African-American girls show signs of puberty such as breast development and pubic hair, before the age of eight. Some girls are showing sexual development before the age of three. Premature development of girls has been linked to the use of soy formula and exposure to environmental estrogens such as PCBs and DDE.

Eating Soy Foods Will Destroy Your Thyroid
and leach calcium from your bones

Soy, due to its phytic acid, causes calcium to be stripped from the body, and impairs absorption of all minerals. Soy suppresses the thyroid gland, leading to serious problems.

Soy contributes to joint pain, and often merely discontinuing all soy and drinking lots of water to flush out the poisons will make the pain vanish. The highly-touted phytoestrogens in soy have been linked to increased cancer, infertility, leukaemia and endocrine disruption.

It is child abuse to feed a baby soy formula.

A baby fed soy will receive, through the phytoestrogens, the equivalent of approximately five birth control pills per day! The damage is incalculable. The British government is considering legislation to control the sale of soy-based baby formula - when will the rest of the world take notice?

Here's some tips that help,

1. buy organic when possible, source out 100% grassfed meats and pastured eggs
2. Avoid dairy, grains, legumes and anything that comes in a package
3. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, nuts, coconut meats(butter, oil, flakes) and meat

Follow these guidelines to the best of your ability and your health will dramatically increase in no time.

A year ago I could hardly digest anything and my bowel movements were disgusting. Now I have no digestion issues and my BMs come out wonderfully, I don't even have to wipe anymore for the most part
