Greetings concerned citizen,
I have a BS in CS. I can allay your fears about CS being statanic. It is not. None of the terms you mentioned are derived from satanism. Many terms in
CS come from Mathematics directly.
For instance, Matrix is purely a mathematical term. There is no piece of a computer that is called a matrix. Some things in computers use matrices to
function (for example, 3d gaming or data structures). However, there is no 'matrix' in a computer that is separate from the mathematical definition
of the term. Certainly there are no computer scientist that sit around staring at streaming numbers called a Matrix.
Also, a sprite is not in reference to any satanic workings. It is merely a 2d image that can be moved around the screen or animated. There is no link
that can be made to it being a satanic construct. For example, In gaming the large design documents that define all the parts of the game are called
'Bibles', yet one would not take that to mean they are christian religious texts. And if you note Sprite != Spirit and Spirit != Satan or demonic
happenings.
Also, I have never heard the term web sorcerer. Even so, as you can see above there are just as many pet names of christian/other religious terms as
anything satanic.
To be thorough, however, the only term that could be considered a direct link to satanic origins is the concept of a Daemon process in Unix. This is a
process that operates in the background without any user input. Much like the classic view of how demons operate. Hence the term. However, since most
religions use the term demon, just invoking it to describe something does not make the thing described satanic, nor the people using the term.
Otherwise everyone would be satanic as everyone has said the word demon at some point in time.
I hope you now can continue your studies with peace of mind.
