Part of Einsteins brain was actually formed different than most of us mere mortals , but it was the section that deals with spacial relations .

Other than simply having a photographic memory I'd say Autism as well.

All people differ somewhat in their ability to remember information. However, some individuals have remarkable memories and perform feats that normal individuals could never hope to achieve. These individuals, sometimes called mnemonists (pronounced �nih-MAHN-ists�), are considered to have exceptional memory.

In terms of not understanding but still remembering/learning - the term would be autistic savant.

I'm an artist. So I have a form of genious. I have a buddy who is an engineer and he can talk numbers and probabilities and all that noise, but he can't color inside the lines. I can play a mean guitar and he can design a nuclear warhead. I can paint a beautiful portrait and he can tell you the ratio of the velocity of an electrical current through a copper wire. I suppose we are all blessed to a point. Well, maybe not all.

The smartest man I ever met was a man named Dave. He is in his 50s now and can tell you anything you want to know. But you can't hold a conversation with him. He could recite any book he has ever read. Yet if you touch him he will freak out like a kid.

He is literally never wrong. A buddy of mine thought that he could get him one day. He realized that Dave didn't watch sports much so he asked Dave who won the basketball game last night. Dave , without even thinking about it, said "the basketball players." And of course he was right indeed.

He is autistic. He collects trivial items such as lottery results and movie listings. It makes him happy. If only we all could be so easily pleased.

It's really hard to upgrade the Ram in your Frontal lobe..I've tried it and it hurts.

I',m good at remembering stuff I don't ever need in real life...ATS is a nice place to "relieve myself" so to speak.. I love this place..!

I know man. I was thinking of changing by background so everyone could see it but I got too many points taken away with the warning. Now I have not enough points. Someone way above me so I can change my backie to pink. lol Someone earlier suggested changing the flags to pink so they would be prettier and not so diabolical. I though it a good idea just so you could see it in my avatar. lol. But when I do get enough points I am going to use the flag image as my backie. Wouldn't that be cool looking, hundreds of flaggies tiled on my avatar. I don't think they would like that very much though. What's the point of having a flag if it isn't noticable?

Sorry you are right*looks for flag* I think a clasmate of mine was mildly autistic , and can remember almost back to the crib . I don't know if too much memory can outweigh your other brain functions .

Some can do it thru training , and others have the gift of savant .

OK, so we have to stay on topic here.

I had been thinking about all that has been said here and I thought that I would sleep on it. When I woke I had an epiphany, a revelation if you will.

I couldn't believe it at the time. I was so excited and I had to call my friends and tell them.

It was very early in the morning and most of my friends sleep late. So after being cursed a few times I finally got one of them to talk to me. But to my surprise she had wonderful news of a big promotion at her job. She just kept on and on and on about it. I was trying to tell her that my thing was more important, but at that time she got 'call-waiting' and then she never came back to the line.

So I went out in search of anyone who would listen to my revelation. I finally found a homeless man and began to tell him of what I had discovered. But as soon as I started to speak, he vomited on my shoes. I had to go home and replace my shoes immediately.

I get home and my Mom comes over. Mom always listens to me, if even she doesn't hear me, she pretends to. So I say "Mommy, mommy, I have something to tell you......". And then to my dismay, I had forgotten my epiphany. It just completely left me. I told my dog, but of course Pooper can not relay back to me what I told her. She probably does remember though.

Now I am tortured once again. I have sat here all morning trying to remember, but I can not.

Now, where are my darned car keys?
