Yes, I know it's NOT a spill. Nevertheless, the media still chooses to use that word.
From today's news....

"The greatest damage from the Gulf oil spill might be the fear it has put in the minds of seafood consumers and recreational fishermen."

According to the article, many seafood related businesses in Brevard county have "dropped off to nothing".

Oyster sales have plunged from $3000 a week to zero. Fish and shrimp sales are down by half.

For sure on the seafood damage and they are telling us it's ok to eat the seafood. Check out this for contradictions on the spill
