Weird dream of me being a part of a cult and the return of Jesus

I always thought Dreams were mostly just reflections of things going on in your life. But I have had a sort of re-awakening lately. I ran across a book quite by accident called "Edgar Cayce On Dreams" and am reading it and it rings true to me. I did not realize he was quite the interpreter of dreams.

He says dreams are communications to you from 3 sources. One is from the body if you are neglecting some area of your health or have some disease and or may be on the verge of it but not aware of it yet. The next is the higher mind or computer brain that helps you solve problems in your life especially if you have something weighing on you. And the 3rd is the higher self or soul that gives you communications as to your lifes mission and your progression on the path.

I have been slowly learning to interpret my dreams. First thing I did is start writing them down. Keep a pen and pad near the bed or bathroom and in the morning write it down before you forget it or important parts of it. This focuses your attention on your dreams. I also say to myself about 20 times right when I have gone to bed; "I remember my dreams" (for anyone that has trouble remembering thier dreams.)

Anyway Cayce seems to feel that most of the time but not always the other people in your dreams represent you in some way. I am slowly learning to interpret my dreams. So I'll take a shot on what your dream means so take it for what it's worth

First thing is if all the other people in your dreams represent you in some way then think how they could be you in some aspect? You were in the temple worshipping but really you were just thier for the ladies it sounds like and then you had the power where everyone did what you said perhaps more significant is Christ shows up and your face is destroyed.

It sounds to me like you are thinking of doing something that you would be ashamed of doing. Or perhaps many things you felt were wrong in the past to do you are now considering maybe they are not so wrong or bad?

Christ represents you or the higher good in you and you know something is wrong but are thinking of doing it anyway. Hearing about Satan being resurrected is the same theme actually. If Satan represents you then that part of you or the lower self that would do something you know is wrong is beginning to reassert its power. This could be the power you have in the dream, to get the people (you) to do what ever you want even if you know you shouldn't, hence the shame at when Christ ( the higher good in you) appears. Also the little girl that said you were the devil. That is you telling yourself where you headed if you stay on the current path. It's a warning.

Since you quit the church your focus has not been on spiritual things so those things have become very distant to you and now the lower self is trying to assert it's power but you know you need to find and do the highest good as Unity99 said . So you are neglecting your spiritual life and in danger of following a selfish path leading to the darkside so to speak.

Some of the symbolisms in your dreams is very interesting. It is possible some of it comes from your past lives even though you are in the future in your dreams. It could be warning you not to go down the dark path as you have already paid off some bad karma from past lives and you don't want to incur any new karma of this magnitude.

My suggestion is to start putting attention on your spiritual life again. It does not have to be the Abrahamic religions but find your path and mission for this life. I highly suggest Cayces book and learn what you are being told by your dreams.

Well not sure I am exactly right just sharing the impression I got. You feel you have lost face with Jesus because you went after other things. You might feel ashamed but Jesus still approached you to let you know he still cares about you regardless. He even will approach you where you are at and wants to know you.

Being a leader with one man suicidal because of to many chances at freedom? The people want to murder him... Possibly influenced by the leader. Sounds like the man is not truly free and wants it but there is danger because the ones he serves do not care for him or his freedom. Am I just miss understanding your description of this dream? If I am right it could be a warning of following a certain path or leader. I am taking it that even though you were the leader that the leader was not truly you but represented a leader whom you were allowed to perceive from.

The ship with a kingdom and water kind of sounds like a promise in the Bible.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

I personally believe this may speak of God showing you a place he may have prepared for you should you receive it.

Humm? That is interesting. Not a big fan of religious text and astrology. Also I wanted to write another dream I had a while back.
In the dream I was ill and near death. I was telling my children that a terrorist attack will happen the day after my death. Does this dream have any relations with the others? Also I had a dream where I was the leader again and setting up Christmas decorations with my family.
