We often see people on this site bashing NASA for one reason or another (usually accusing them of doctoring pictures and or not being truthful,
that's not my stance on NASA just an observation) but here is an article that I found that actually makes them the good guys for once
A NASA, Carnegie Mellon and the USGS team has deployed a Senseta MAX 5.0A Rover to help in the Dawn Sanchez murder case, they used the rover to
perform magnetic surveys of a vacant lot in Alviso, Calif., looking for buried material evidence, which included car parts and a possible body
buried in the old junk yard.
The rover found car parts that matched the suspect's car (this is an 18 year old case) , buried in the junk yard and the suspect then was convicted
of manslaughter, and sentenced to six years in prison. heh fair play NASA!
