Have you ever seen a chicken egg which had been lain by a duck?
Have you ever seen a duck egg which had been lain by a chicken?
How do you know what is in the egg before it hatches?
How can you therefore give a lable to the type of egg if it is not yet hatched?
As I stated in my first post, it had to be a "proto-chicken egg" from which the first chicken hatched !!!
If you could lable an egg simply be what may or may not be inside, what do you call it if it does not hatch ? You see not all eggs are furtile and do
not produce anything, but it was still lain by something.
That something is all you can go by in order to lable the egg, be it chicken, duck, reptile, or beetle.
