A senior Indian official has accused Pakistani intelligence of orchestrating the 2008 Mumbai attacks. G K Pillai, India's home secretary, said on Wednesday that the perpetrators of the attacks in which 166 people died were "clients and creations" of the Inter-Services Intelligence [ISI] agency of the Pakistan army". "They [ISI] were literally controlling and co-ordinating it from the beginning until the end," the Indian Express newspaper quoted Pillai as saying.

What does the ATS community make of these allegations?

Nothing new here, everyone knows that Pakistani officials were involved. There are rogue officials in the Pakistani branches who want to take out its own government so that they can follow on the footsteps of Iran and have the Clerics rule Pakistan.

Why do you think there is so much corruption in Pakistan with the amount of US Aid sent to them fight the Taliban and US hardware, all of which have almost no worthy results. Only for the US to finally go down there and do the raid themselves.

Segments of the Pakistani government are the reasons for it Pakistan's current condition.

I have to agree. Everyone sorta kinda knew this already. However, it's great that India is finally acknowledging it. Now what can we deduce from the timing of the release of this news?

Only posted this as it is the first time I've heard an Indian official pointing the blame at Pakistan
