Iv gotten 2 Netsky Viruses from [email protected] or so it says...and another site that i cant remember cuz i deleted it. It comes packed in a PIF...why not just block all attachments that have a PIF extension?? There arent many common uses for a PIF that anybody using ATS Webmail would be using.

Mail scanning was disabled during some high server load last week. (It's processor intensive). It may remain disabled until our next server upgrade. I'll post an update soon.

It would probably be less CPU intensive to block attachments although it's not 100% effective.

These are extensions I used to block when setting up mail servers:
.bat .chm .cmd .com .exe .hta .lnk .pif .reg .scr .url .vbe .vbs .wsh

That will save you from most virus files but there are some that spread through zips.

Mail scanning is re-enabled, but spam scanning is still off (it's the most intensive)
