I like my revolvers for several reasons. I am a readloacer and load light practice rounds in .38 Special for my revolvers. I seldom practice with full
power .357s. I do carry .357 when I am out and about. I also carry with me speedloaders.
The ability to change ammo from .357 to .38 special is a big plus for me.
There are women as well as men who do not like the .357 magnum round.
The revolver allows me to more simply keep track of my brass rather than chasing it all over the range. Open it and drop the empties into the can. No
running around the range sweeping and picking up assorted brass.
I too prefer the simplicity of the revolver than the Autos I also own.
Though I also own a .45 ACP Colt..I seldom carry it and prefer the revolver.
This his however an individual choice. I merely state my preference and why.
Autos have come up significantly in reliability over the years.
Up to the individual why and what they prefer.
