I am sure a lot of you use Google Earth in many different ways. I myself am somewhat of a novice at it so I don't claim to be a pro at all. I was
curious one day just to look at my house for kicks and giggles and I just happened to pan around up in the sky and actually found something pretty
interesting.
I made a video of it then pretty much forgot about it until about a year later when a Friend was over and I was showing them the video. We decided to
walk further down the street, ( mind you this is still in street view on Google, not me actually walking down the street), when we found more to our
surprise.
Now I am obviously not a professional video maker either, and this was only about the 5Th video I ever made so please try and keep that in mind.
I am posting the second video I made about it because it has more detail of the walk up the street. The really interesting part is at the end when I
accidentally stepped out of street view into sky mode. That part is kind of bizarre, but then again, I don't know that much about Google, so maybe
someone can explain what that was I caught.
If the video doesn't show you enough and you care to see for yourself, just go to
52 wisdom ave. providence rhode island and go to street view and walk up the street panning the sky to your right towards 50, 42 etc.
I am really curious to what you folks think these were, and before you say birds etc. look for yourself and zoom or whatever you have to do!
my first thought was birds- that one looks just like a bird on a wire... BUT the later ones are more convincing.
.....and does it not creep you out a little that all these people are gonna know where you live now?
I'm skeptical. Not only with the commentary in the video (you waited a year prior to posting? did i read that right?) but with the object itself.
As far as I can tell it could be a bird.
edit to add: Just reviewed it again, I'm still thinking some were birds, maybe some of the later ones could just be glitches in the Google Earth
Street View Software...
No I didn't wait a year. I actually posted the first video but it was shorter and just what I had discovered over my house. It was a year later that
I actually went further down the street and made a new video of that. I could have posted the first video but it would have seemed a bit redundant.
Have you been looking up to see if you observe anything with the naked eyes? I thought birds until I saw the last zoomed image. Not sure what to
think now.
BTW giving out your address is a good way to have an interesting weekend! Lock your doors!
Ok I have heard this bird thought quite a few times. So, for the record, I just now went to about 20 random places, cities on Google Earth, went into
street view and looked around. Oddly enough I only found one lone pigeon on the ground at a park... Isn't that rather odd in itself? You would think
there would be birds in all kinds of shots and all over the place wouldn't you? So why do I get lucky enough to have two birds around my house this
day when I can hardly find any on any other streets I go around my house my less anywhere else in the country?
Then if they are birds, which I can go with, what is that at the end of the video in the sky view? Those surely aren't birds.
Maybe...Maybe Not, that was a bit too easy for your caliber of input!!!LOL
For the OP , they are a bit of what one would call a "Sh@#(y" resolution. I for one would keep my eye's to the skies with some other form of video
capabilities. I can't say for sure what I am seeing, but there seems to be something in the air, err go UFO PUnidentified Flying Object] for the new
be's that don't know!! LOL
For now, just enjoy the music provided by our good friend and contributor Maybe...Maybe Not and get better evidence to post as a higher than personal
experience, for now anyway!!
lol yeah I figured, but you just never know... lol that was funny The good news is I Can take a joke!
Yigsstarhouse.....
That's such a great version of that song! I stole it from Chadwickus!
The "blurd" (I think Phage made up that name) photos really can throw up some unusual & suspicious shapes.
The rendering of these shapes as they pass from video to video, photo to photo, etc... just makes it harder.
As for the strange effect at the end.....I guess that just Google Earth "ripping & tearing" at the images.
I notice a lot of GE info is way out of whack. For instance, if I look at my house, all the relative sizes of trees, yards, buildings, etc... are
quite wrong.
Hmmm! There is nothing noteworthy on any of these images posted by the OP. While we may not clearly identify what the objects are, they are clearly
not ET in a UFO IMHO.
