'70s board game contains eerie BP oil spill scenarios

A nearly 40-year-old board game is getting a lot of new attention because of eerie similarities between the scenarios of its play and the 78-day-old BP Gulf oil disaster.

The game BP Offshore Oil Strike, which came out in the 1970s and is adorned with an old BP logo, revolves around four players exploring for oil, building platforms and constructing pipelines – all in the name of being the first to make $120 million.

The European Game was to paid in US Dollars. Kind of eerie.

What is it called when rituals put coming events out in public before it happens? I can't remember the term.

I am just a bit spooked out about the coincidences. I am going to do some more research and add more in a bit. Just wanted to post this first.

Intresting.... If you can find a way to work out how much 70's $1 million is worth in todays money then this could get deep (no pun intended). I looked on the internet but could not find anything

Why would there be a game called BP oil strike? I wonder if we fan ge a copy of the scenario and the rules. The 70's and 80's had lots of board games with many subjects but this one does seem a little odd as it features a real company and well a pretty boring game play - I mean who wants to play a game about an oil spill (or strike)?
Maybe we will find out that it was purposely hit.

Therefore $1Million 1975 dollars = $4,159,000.00 in 2010. So they were a little off there.

The problem is is that none of those things fortell future events. The board game was made during the oil crisis of the 70s (which you would've known had you read the article), the illuminati card game had events that either already happened or events commonly discuss among conspiracy theorists, and I really shouldn't even have to say anything about the 20$ bill. Chances are this is just someone driving up hype to cash in on a tragedy.

The Illuminati cards are a typical ploy of "Hiding in plain sight" they love to shove these things in our faces. I have the entire set, and it's pretty horrifying when you find the ones that are eerily similar to what has happened.

Stop grasping at straws and come up with an actual argument. Cards displaying past/commonly discussed events with zero details are not prophetic. If we play by your logic, "A famous person will die this year" is a prophecy. By your logic, "A country will wage war with another country" is a prophecy. By your logic "A tragedy will strike a country" is a prophecy. These are not prophecies; things like this only make the conspiracy community look like a joke.

I'm shocked that nobody thought to follow up on cnn's findings. (they are cnn, after all)

REgarding illuminati, is that really a relevant topic? In fact, regarding the oil spill is this even a relevant topic? So much lying and so much dying and this is the considered a prevalent issue?
