take a look at this sequence of words:

palm tree face

notice that by the time you get to "face", you mind has already decided upon the meaning of "palm" with reference to "tree", and "face" doesnt really fit. now, lets try it again....

palm face tree

this time, hopefully, you are imagining giving yourself a facepalm. but "tree" is now out of context.




once the meaning has been assigned to a given set of words or circumstances, it is difficult to go back to before the assignment and attempt to assign a different meaning. the mind works linearly and there is not much you can do about it.

but it is possible to let your mind relax into a state of *undecided* suspended animation. "tree" "face" and "palm" simply float around each other in a state of undifferentiated potential.

this suspended state of meaning is similar to what is meant by the "super-position" of matter and energy in quantum mechanics.


the reality in which we function is not comprised of things which are in a suspended state. a thing is either matter OR energy. "palm-tree" OR "palm-face". we live in an either/or reality. it cannot be both.

but QM tells us that it does! just behind the curtain of what is now in front of your eyes, the entire universe exists in a state of undifferentiated potential. this is the non-local space.



can this non-local space be consciously apprehended (perceived)?

it is not your MIND that exists in this non-local space because we know that your mind functions linearly (locally).


so, figure out how to free "palm" from its bondage of meaning. it is there, in that non-local space, that you will find YOU.

You have just made one of the best explanations of superposition, and it might even be true science. This is what good science is - so simple anyone could understand it, and thats when it reflects reality

Nice way to describe a difficult concept.
