Men are designed to hunt not to think....
Women are designed to multi task (do a lot of things at once)

The male in general is not yet spiritually developed, as they are still led by their basic needs.
Look at a troop of primates..now compare them to our society.

Our society has been out of balance from the beginning.....

If you really need a conspiracy...........look at how the male has conspired to make the female less than they are.

I am not a feminist. i am just equal to any other human be it male or female...........Intelligence is not what you know...it is how you think.

I believe this is a terrible reason to the question at hand. Men are not designed NOT to think... That contradicts all of the previous poster's observations about why men are observed to THINK more about "intellectual" topics than woman.
I believe the reason is actually because woman don't NEED to know about these topics as men do to get by in life. Women are honestly not EXPECTED to know about these things. When a woman does know a significant amount intellectually, she stands out because it is not as common. I believe the driving force in men striving to know more about these topics is based on a cultural construct. Biology may play a part, but it is minimal.

I agree my statement was not right...it was meant to highlight statements leveled at the female not deemed intelligent.

That been said.........
Society places a heavy burden on both sexes to conform within the said society.
To move forward we have to put down childish things, like we are better than you. We need to agree that we are different not less or more.

The female has not and is not recognised for the qualities inherent in the female. To say that the female is not interested or doe's not have the intelligence, because they are not posting on forums is either naive or insulting.

Once men put down their ego's and start to relate as humans, we will have at last peace in the world..........

It is all about emotional intelligence....something sadly lacking in today's world

I think it's because women are more trusting of the political system and those elected.
They generally have more trusting and also forgiving natures.
Women also have a strong belief in the power to change. (Hence why they fall in love with a man and then try to change him for example)
They also believe they have the ability to change the world via the children they give birth to and raise.
Women are very changable by nature where men are less so.
So it could be the different natures that influence the view or perception of the world and how it works.
Politics, War, the Military, and most things that conspiracy theories eminate from are regarded as male interests.
If the theories eminated from the fashion world, womens mag or beauty industries then they'd be more interested as that's where their interests lie naturally.
A lot of women also prefer to not know how badly men have screwed up the world and turn the other cheek.
Of course, if women had've done all that damage to the world, I'm sure men wouldn't be so forgiving.
But that's women for you. Call it positive thinking, being in denial, ignorance is bliss ......take your pick.
Women like the keep the glitter and rainbows in our lives to balance out the harsher stuff. If we didn't have this balance we'd all be manic depressive by the time we were 5 IMO.
I'm a woman by the way and even I have to give it a rest every couple of weeks these days or I do get the blues.

Couple observations from one of those STRONG independent LOUD MOUTH women, who are 100 percent CTist.

I have been this way since I was a teen, being raised in the Catholic Faith was the beginning of my journey, and I am still journeying.

As a teen, raised in rural western KY, I NEVER fit in. Nor have I EVER remained silent on my opinions.

I shout them from rooftops, and I share my opinions.

I always wonder how things work, and why.

I am 100 percent female, and female driven, and my love of CT is just a part of who I am.

The generalizations and misogyny in this thread reinforce my belief women ARE the superior gender on this board.

Why when discussing females and CT do gross generalizations and misogyny have to be tossed in? Even from supposed women themselves, conditioning by society? Conditioning from parents? Sick.

Some examples:

I hate to say it, but most females I know seem much less concerned with important issues of the world in general. I don't know why, but this is just what I have observed around me. They tend to gossip more and are more worried about their physical appearance than anything else. I'm a female by the way.

I have only been alive for 40 odd years but overall ( not all ) most Woman I have meet have zero interest in how things work. They don't want to know how their TV works, or their car, or anything else around them. And they rely or use this stuff every day. So were would the motivation come from to research the hidden agendas or inner workings of the world around us ?

The majority live in a fairy tale, Disney world. It takes too much energy to investigate these subjects, too much courage, and it would mean putting down the makeup and vain attitude. Our women have become blinded by consumerism of every kind. Makeup, Clothes, hair products, "cool" music, diets, plastic surgery, celebrities, reality shows, credit cards...EVERYTHING on TV is geared for it! All this crap rules their world, and subsequently their husbands and boyfriends world as well.

They shy away from important topics when they are young and care-free, and older and care-free. They are usually only interested in something when it is broken and effects them directly. Then they want a Man to fix it.

It is all about the me, me, me, mindset. Local petty competition, not global awareness.

It's just from my experience, women are less like to speak with you in regards to world events, history, conspiracy.. things of that nature.

I dont think a definitive reason can be given, but as someone said, women are more concerned about gossip and image - I think many of them have bought into the whole commercialism and are happy to live the lie.
Perhaps even gender roles play a part.

Seriously? I find your comment offensive but i'm not going to turn this into an argument, i just hope that over time you come to realise why its important women have the same rights as men.

Its hard to discuss this without sounding negative towards women... but yes, they are as a group more interested in appearance and celebrities than the world. You can look at any magazine shelf and find 50 magazines about celebrities and appearance, all aimed at women.

Mens magazines are about computers, cars, science, sports, and other more varied things that is not about their own appearance.

But there is absolutely a trend going on where men are encouraged to become just as shallow. I think in 10-15 years, we have the same amount of magazines for men about how to look like their favorite football players or TV celebrities. Superficiality is becoming the norm. We even pick our tech toys after how they look now. Look at Apple growing.

But Im a guy and I dont care about world events to be honest. Why watch the world when there is nothing good happening and there is nothing I can do to change it? I would just feel constantly depressed for no good reason. The ordinary people are not part of changing the world anymore, we are just spectators.

Generalizations are needed in order to discuss certain things. Would you not agree that men being interested in sports is not exactly uncommon? I am not interested in sports myself, but I dont feel the need to rage against people speaking about men as a group, and saying they are usually into sports.

Are we supposed to never make any generalizations? Then its pretty much impossible to talk about noticeable patterns at all, since there will always be exceptions.

Just know that you dont fit the generalization and move on. Just because you dont fit it doesnt mean that most dont fit it.

Sorry but statements like that do not deserve to even be acknowledged because doing so just makes them believe they are onto something or encourages them because they get attention for them. Someone who can make a statement like that is not even thinking and nothing you or I can ever say will change it.

I'm going to be speaking in generally terms here.

Women are the gatekeepers of the system/"matrix". Truth and logic do not concern them. Women are only concerned about "fitting in" into the societal norms which have been established by men. They are not concerned about "the man behind the curtain", because they don't care about how things really work and actually are.

The reason why women are the gatekeepers is because weak men, who also aren't keen on seeking truth, let them run their lives. Weak men are afraid to be alone thus these men cowardly stay with these women that just want to "fit it". I know this will seem to contradict what I just stated but I believe this is the reason why the divorce rate keeps going up(at least in the states).

Men and women don't know each other, or themselves for that matter, because they are not interested in the "truth"/how things really work. So instead of saying hasta la vista baby to an "uninterested in truth" female in the infancy of the relationship, the man will let it drag out until he absolutely can't take it any more. Unfortunately, most of these "men" by that time have already gotten married to this woman, had kids and are completely stuck in their dead end job or worse, unemployed.

In the average female mind, conspiracy theories are for "losers" therefore, you cannot get laid if you believe in conspiracies. This is a terrifying "reality" for the weak minded male.

What does having to know how your tv works have to do with understanding conspiracy theories?

Funny how men assume(and you know what they say about assume) that since women don't say anything that women don't care. In fact, maybe if men didn't criticize women when they speak publicly, or ignore what they say altogether, they would actually hear what women are saying.

Maybe it is not the speaker but the listener.

And I have much more important things to worry about then how teh remote works.

Perhaps women don't post here because they don't want to talk to egotistical men like these previous posters. It has become a self fulfilling prophecy - you think women are materialistic idiots; therefore, women don't post here, and then you use this as proof of their lack of intelligence.

And just because you don’t directly citizen women doesn’t mean it’s not done in indirect ways. It’s the entire environment of this board. It’s done by the lack of responses to posts and choice of topics. Most members consider threads a method of debating, which each person taking sides. Women have been trained to be more collaborative, which doesn’t work well in a debate.

I can't tell you how many avatars I have seen with women in what I would consider degrading positions, though I have seen less of these lately. Then I first started reading ATS, there was an ad which would always pop-up. It featured a woman in a bikini on her knees - I had to look at this every time I read a post.

Plus there is a double standard for people with alternative views. If a man comes up with unusual theories, they are considered eccentric - a women is just considered crazy.

I am female..and I have to say..I dont take offense to any posts here.

I've always said..Im a big girl, I can take care of myself.

I think different women have different mind-sets, but most have a nurturing spirit. That may be why they chose to "ignore" conspiracies and general survival topics.

Ive always been a "tom-boy", so I loved fishing and cave exploring, science and space..AND conspiracies.
Id rather watch the History channel than Oprah..bah...hate that stuff

I even am SO different than your normal female, that I hate talking on the phone..can you believe it?

Like the other girls here, if I talk about any of the things Im interested in, (conspiracy-type) My gf's just roll their eyes at me, and go on talking about the great sale at Penny's!

Face it, women are a TOTAL different species than men..always will be..but I guess I'm the closest to being understood by men..I even like football..and I can check my own oil
