The Soviet Question

If America doesn't have or has never had the technology to land on the moon, why should the Soviet union have the technology to put the first Satelite into outer space or put the first people in outer space and achieving the first spacewalk?

After all, if the Van Allen belt makes it impossible for America to go to the moon, why would it allow the Soviet Union to be the first people in outer space?

Or is this "we never landed on the moon" stuff purely an American thing?

To my knowledge, I have never heard of people who believe that the moon landings are a hoax never apply this belief towards the Soviet accomplishments in space travel.

About the american moon landing being a hoax, i just want to say that indeed it is a hoax. After the alien structures and technology found on the moon ( data which could not be shown to the general public) they had to film a fake landing on the moon so that data might not be available to the general public.

Russian rocket technology is extremely advanced, maybe even more so than America. And at the time, Russia spent more money on there space programme, America was spending very little.

You are, of course, entitled to your opinion, but the idea that the moon landing was a hoax is utterly ridiculous! There are no alien structures on the moon.
Please don't bother posting stupid YouTube videos or any other "evidence".
The idea is the province of the uneducated, and is so totally silly on so many levels that's it's pointless to discuss.
The moon landing hoax is one of the absolute dumbest modern BS myths there is, right up there with Earth being 6,000 years old!

Yes, the moon landing hoax really is on the fringe regarding conspiracy theories, gives us all a bad name when there are legitimate conspiracies to ponder about....i put it in the same category as shape shifting reptilians, NWO and the galactic federation of light in all honesty....

Going to the moon is different than doing a space walk. You can space walk this side of the Van Allen belt but you have to pass through the belt to go to the moon. You need to ask why hasn't Russia put a man on the moon? I don't think it's as simple as been there done that.

So true the moon landing was not a hoax and the earth is not 6000 years old.
It's 5770 years old... maybe... depending on if you believe in the OLD EARTH THEORY(6 Billion years old) or the YOUNG EARTH THEORY.

The landing video on the moon that was transmitted "live" in 1969 is fake, made in a studio.

The real video was not shown to the public because of the discoveries made there.

Indeed, go to a library and take a 101 moon landing for dummies.

And those libraries with" thousands of years of collected knowledge" are full with dumb books ( in our days every fool can write a book, porn stars are writing books for kids :| ). So not every book in a library is full of knowledge. And if you talk about ancient texts with real knowledge, they are hidden in museums etc. and once every 50-100 another text pops out at the surface to educate dumb people, and a dumb scientist makes a dumb comment on, lets take for example a greek text of philosophy , and destroys the text's real meaning ,and future generations of dumber people are born.

I agree somewhat but the internet is the new library. You just have to know what section is B.S. and which is mandatory reading. There is a 50/50 B.S. to Fact ratio on the web, but that doesn't mean a library book has the whole truth either. They can be just as diluted. The internet has increase the availability of information, hence the name "Information Superhighway".

Guys guys guys, please let's stick to the fact that the Soviet Union was never in outer space in the first place and that they couldn't have had the technology to put Sputnik in orbit or put the first people in space. These things are simply a hoax, and could not have happened.

I know this might sound incredibly nerdy but hey am a massive nerd so i don’t care. When i was younger i won some physics prize were they sent me to a “space camp” being run in the UK but by people for NASA and the ESA. Anyway at one point i got talking to a ex NASA engineer, who didn’t work on the Apollo missions but was understandably very knowledgeable. Anyway in the conversation I told him about my fascination with conspiracies of various types in the course of this I asked something along the lines of “prove to me man landed on the moon” his response was something along the lines of this.

In 1969 the Americans and Soviets were watching everything America was doing (we had discussed ECHELON as well but that’s for another time). He told me that had the moon landings been a fake the Russians would have came out right away and tell us all that it was a fake, as they were tracing the space craft. I challenged him about other stuff like wind, shadows and lighting. He basically said that anyone could put forward any logical theory pointing to a faked landing however the fact was that they couldn’t do it because the Russians would have called them on it right away. And he did actually explain some of that stuff to me as well like reasons why the flag may have appeared to have shown wind.
