Massive amount of ufo sightings!

A survey conducted in Canada in 1997 showed that 10% of the population believe that they have seen an ufo, and that only 12% of those who have seen an ufo report it.

This means that we need to multiply the number of sightings reported. Of these only a tiny fraction ever reach the press (only waves of sightings or something very spectacular).

Larry Hatch has a very impressive ufo database with lots of geographic data and statistics. (he looked at over 18,000 sightings)
