Unfortunately, this is not a replacement for a cardiac ultrasound examination.

There are 3 technologies that are improving that might be able to assist in that area, if you are difficult to image:

- The improving technology pertaining to cardiac ultrasound echo contrast media (i.e. micro bubble sonographic contrast agents), the best of which many people believe is a product called Sonovue

- The improving technology pertaining to cardiac CT imaging

- The improving technology pertaining to cardiac MR imaging
