OK just a quick thought. It is muscle. Even after a biological entity has died, you can still make it flail around by pumping electricity through it. I wonder if maybe the foil was touching any kind of electrical source. It didn't appear to be but it is something to think over.

This was caused from an induction oven that sends an electromagnetic wave over the burners, the electromagnetic wave hit the aluminum foil and sent electricity through to the fishes nerves. Pulses of electricity is what controls and moves mussels.

It was just the right aluminum foil on the right kind of a stove to create the mussel movement.

Freaky either way!

it is not weird at all thinking it is electricity, batteries are also made with acid. Lemonjuice is an acid too you know. Maybe it is a combination of the foil the acid and the fluids in the muscle what creates a sort of electrical current.
