The Pacific coast of Mexico is a very active seismic area.
I'm in Mexico City right now.
It was felt very strong throughout the whole city although I didn't feel a thing.
There are parts within the city where you can barely feel any movement.

I was awake and found it odd that my dog wanted to go outside. I thought it was to do his "thing".

Right now you can still hear some helicopters flying around, I guess to report any damages.

I've been to Oaxaca in Mexico , it's a beautiful city and for anyone wondering how you say Oaxaca phonetically it's wer-ha-ca. Just thought i'd add that.
