Why does religion keep saying involuntary drives are sinful?

Well you're right. I'm not an expert or anything so feel free to correct me There was that mention in book of moses too so I remembered wrong.
What I don't get it that christians are NT? I'm a christian and my bible had both OT and NT and both were taught. Also doesn't OT have genesis, exodus etc. are you saying that christians don't believe in those?

I consider the OT to be true and I also find many OT teachings and prophesies confirmed in the NT. There is much wisdom in the OT that can be applied to our lives today, e.g. Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, etc
