I imagine the comments are disabled because you would just have a load of mindless posts calling David a Lizard or something.

After watching the video, what struck me was the arrogance in the way David speaks, its an arrogance that permiates through the elites. He has been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, which has given him all the opportunities to travel the world and go to all these amazing places. 99% of young people will never get the opportunities David has had to get "involved in nature". Most kids in the world live in abject poverty.

It's this gulf between David and his ilk and the rest of us, that is the most concerning thing. He makes some great points about getting kids into nature and playing in the woods, but when you live on a council estate in a city centre or in extreme cases work in a sweat shop knocking out cheap clothes for westerners, running in the woods and playing in streams is not an option.

Maybe if your family owns woods and streams and can afford to put you through the best education, these things are great for any youngster.

what a boring and uninteresting character. you would think with all that money he would buy some personality. still nice to see him take time away from eating babies to present this totally boring and uninspiring talk.

Huh? Zeitgeist is a Google-sponsored event much like the TED conferences where people present their (hopefully) innovative ideas.

The word "zeitgeist" means "the spirit of the times" in German. What are you saying they hijacked it from? It's just a word.
