Struck by Lightning AND Mauled by a Bear? What Are the Odds?!

www.asylum.com

Four years ago, Rick Oliver, 51, was struck by lightning. Ever since, he has had trouble sleeping. As a result, he regularly works on his Chevy Malibu in the middle of the night.

It was during one of these late-night automotive work sessions that he was victim of another improbable experience: being mauled by a bear.

"I heard this strange huffing and the next thing I know, I had been run over and stepped on by a bear," he said.

Um ok....so the bear came into a mechanics garage apparently, and mauled the guy for overcharging him for an oil change. The bear was last seen speeding away in his white toyota camry.

Ok that may not have happened exactly as I describe, in all seriousness seems like an unfortunate accident...unless the bear knocked and the guy let him in, then he had it coming.

Never open your door to a strange bear!

I guess he should have stayed in bed.

This story has one of those twists to it that causes one to say “really”. I feel sorry for the guy at least he is alive but I also kind of want to chuckle at this kind of bad luck. I mean this is the sort of stuff that tells you, you need to just stay inside and not leave your house.

I think the guy should buy a lottery ticket personally.

If two "one in several million" events have already happened to him, why not go for three?
