Alert?

There's been an important change in the way it behaves...

THE CURRENT PROGRESSIVE 5-WAVE NORTHERN HEMISPHERIC FLOW PATTERN WOULD TEND TO FAVOR THE THE GFS-CANADIAN SOLUTION

IF THE RECENT NORTHWARD SHIFT IN THE MODELS CONTINUES...THEN ALEX COULD REMAIN OVER WATER FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS RESULTING IN A VERY POWERFUL HURRICANE.

Now according to the new models, it would hit Texas/Louisiana...

Katrina did the same exact thing... was expected to die over land...then came back over the gulf and become a category 5 hurricane.

Looks like Katrina 2!

Pray to whatever god/person you believe in that it doesn't happen.

No. No. No. And, by the way: NO.

Only ONE of the models takes to to Texas. The "outliers" of the models are always tossed aside unless they are *strongly* supported by upper level winds and larger weather patterns.

Long range predictions are almost universally *wrong*, unless there is a *strong* weather pattern guaranteed to remain steady.

Not every storm that tracks that way is going to be a "Katrina." Katrina was a "once in a lifetime" kinda storm because they are infrequent in any one geographical area, unless you are talking about the Outer Banks of NC or the Keys of FL. Besides, not every storm will reach hurricane strength. Not every hurricane will reach the "severe" categories >= 3.

Sheesh!!

You never know with scalar electromagnetic devices in common use now, exactly what a storm will do. I just hope there are some good guys using them!
