Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows how a catheter works?
Well I worked in the medical field for a while and I know how it works. The nurse inserts a tube into the bladder. The end of the tube inflates like a
balloon, because water is injected to inflate the end of it. Once that happens, the end that is in the bladder can not come back out, because it is
inflated. Then the urine can drain into a bag.
Well I was wondering if it would be possible to create some sort of tube like this. The end of it would go deep into the oil pipe, and then the end is
inflated with something and this will plug the hole, while the oil is siphoned off.
I don't know if it would be possible to create a giant catheter for the oil spill, but if it works in the body, maybe it would work for the oil
spill!
